I really like the old WW2 propaganda posters. During such an intense and draining war, you want to keep the morale of the population going and make sure the right kind of information is being relayed to the common man and women. In our modern, relatively conflict free lives the posters can seem a bit silly and in a few cases, downright ridiculous (not to mention sexist/racist) in content. But what remains intact for me is the visual style, combining a modern sense of minimalism with a great, now vintage, feel. So I had a go at making one myself for the upcoming alien invasion!
